About these terms
These terms are the agreement between you and Resold (“we”, “us”) for using the Resold app and website. By creating an account or subscribing, you agree to them. Please read them alongside our privacy policy, which explains how we handle your data.
We have tried to keep them short and plain. If anything is unclear, email rayanbilal183+resold@gmail.com.
Who can use Resold
You must be 18 or over to use Resold. Resold is built for sellers in the United Kingdom and its tax features follow UK rules.
Record keeping, not advice
Resold is a record keeping tool. It helps you log sales, stock and expenses and gives you estimates such as profit, trading allowance progress and reporting thresholds. It is not tax, legal or financial advice, and we are not accountants.
You are responsible for what you tell HMRC and for checking that your figures are right. Tax rules and marketplace fees change, and while we keep our rules up to date, we cannot promise every estimate matches your situation.
Your account and security
- Give us accurate details and keep your sign in method (Apple, Google or email) secure.
- One account per person. Please do not share your account.
- Tell us straight away at rayanbilal183+resold@gmail.com if you think someone else has accessed your account.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account unless it is our fault.
Resold Pro, the free trial and paying
Resold has one plan, Resold Pro, and there is no free plan. Pro includes everything: unlimited sales, stock and expenses, your dashboard, allowance and reporting tracking, unlimited receipt scans, spreadsheet import, Tax Pack export and full data export. You need an active subscription, or a free trial, to use Resold.
You can subscribe in two places. Prices include VAT where it applies.
- On the websitePaid by card through Stripe
- £5.99 a month or £39.99 a year.
- In the iPhone and iPad appPaid through the App Store
- £6.99 a month or £49.99 a year.
- One subscription covers both. Whichever way you pay, Pro unlocks on the website and in the app for the same account. You only need one subscription.
- New accounts get a 7 day free trial, once, when the account is first created. It is limited to one trial per person, and on the App Store also one per Apple ID. Returning members, and anyone whose subscription has lapsed, subscribe without a trial.
- Website trial: you add a card when you start the trial. Nothing is taken during the trial. When it ends, your chosen plan starts and your card is charged, unless you cancel before the trial ends.
- App Store trial: you start it by confirming on Apple’s purchase sheet, and Apple needs a payment method on your Apple ID. Apple’s introductory offer rules apply. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription starts and Apple charges you.
- On the website, Stripe processes your payment. Your card details go straight to Stripe and never touch our servers. In the app, Apple takes the payment, charges it to your Apple ID and manages your subscription, and Apple’s own terms also apply.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. For App Store subscriptions, cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
- If you have a creator code, you can enter it when you subscribe on the website, where it may apply a discount at checkout, or in the app when you sign up, where some codes come with an App Store offer that you redeem through Apple.
- If your subscription ends, you can still sign in and download all your data. Everything else needs an active subscription again.
- If we change prices, we will tell you in advance and the new price only applies from your next renewal.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time. You keep Pro until the end of the period you have paid for, or until the end of your free trial, and after that you can still download all your data. How you cancel depends on where you subscribed.
- Website: sign in on the website, open Settings and choose Manage billing. You can cancel, switch plan, update your card and download invoices there. Cancel before your trial ends and you will not be charged.
- App Store: on your iPhone open SettingsYour nameSubscriptions, choose Resold and tap Cancel Subscription. Do it at least 24 hours before the renewal date, or the trial end date, to avoid being charged for the next period.
Deleting your Resold account does not cancel an App Store subscription, so cancel that with Apple first. If you need help, see Support or email rayanbilal183+resold@gmail.com.
Your right to cancel and refunds
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations you normally have 14 days to cancel a purchase of digital content or services. When you start a free trial or subscription, you ask us to give you access to Pro straight away and you agree that, because of this, you lose that 14 day cancellation right once your access starts. You can still cancel at any time to stop future payments.
Website purchases: we handle refunds ourselves. If something has gone wrong, for example you were charged by mistake or forgot to cancel a trial, email rayanbilal183+resold@gmail.com from the address on your account and we will always look at it fairly.
App Store purchases: Apple handles all refunds and we cannot issue them ourselves. You can ask Apple for one at reportaproblem.apple.com, and Apple’s refund policy applies.
None of this affects your statutory rights.
Acceptable use
Resold is built for honest record keeping. Please do not:
- use bots, scripts or automation against Resold, or try to use Resold to automate any marketplace;
- scrape, copy or harvest data from Resold or from other people’s accounts;
- use Resold for anything unlawful, including tax evasion or fraud;
- reverse engineer, decompile or try to get around security or plan limits, except where the law allows;
- send spam or harmful content to your private import address, or overload our systems;
- misuse creator codes, including referring yourself or promoting Resold in a misleading way.
If you break these rules we may suspend or close your account.
Your content
Everything you add to Resold, such as sales, receipts and notes, stays yours. You give us a limited licence to store, process, back up and show it back to you, and to build things you ask for like your Tax Pack. That licence ends when you delete the content or your account, apart from backups that roll off shortly after.
You are responsible for making sure what you add is accurate and that you have the right to add it.
Availability and changes
We work hard to keep Resold running smoothly, but we cannot promise it will always be available or error free. We may improve, change or remove features. If a change takes away something important you pay for, we will tell you first and you can cancel. We may update these terms, and we will give notice in the app or by email before important changes take effect.
Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
Otherwise, we are not responsible for:
- tax you owe, penalties, interest or decisions you make based on estimates in Resold;
- actions a marketplace takes on your account;
- loss of business profits or opportunities, or indirect loss that was not foreseeable.
Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Ending these terms
You can stop using Resold whenever you like and delete your account in SettingsDelete account.
We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or if we have to for legal reasons. Where it is reasonable, we will warn you first and give you time to export your data. After your account closes, your data is deleted as described in our privacy policy.
Not affiliated
Resold is not affiliated with Vinted, Depop, eBay or HMRC. Vinted, Depop, eBay and HMRC are names of their respective owners and are used only to describe the platforms and rules Resold helps you keep records for.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can hear any dispute. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts and you keep the protections of your local law.
